Privacy Policy — ZeroLag Tabs

Last updated: 6 June 2026

ZeroLag Tabs (“the extension”, “we”) is a browser tab manager. This policy explains exactly what data the extension handles. The short version: your browsing data never leaves your device.

What the extension accesses

Where this data is stored

All of the above is stored locally on your own device, in your browser’s IndexedDB and local storage. It is never uploaded, shared, sold, or transmitted to us or to any third party. We do not operate a server that receives your tabs, sessions, or browsing activity. We have no analytics, no tracking, and no user accounts.

Network requests

The extension makes no external network requests. It does not contact any server. Everything it does runs entirely inside your browser.

Favicons

Website icons shown next to tabs are loaded from your browser’s own local favicon cache. We do not request favicons from any external service, so no list of your sites is sent anywhere.

Data we do NOT collect

Deleting your data

You can remove all locally stored data at any time from the extension’s Settings → Storage & memory → Clear, or by uninstalling the extension.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and the version published with the extension.
